Hasod Partners With Ayelet Tours

Planning your journey to Israel isn't always easy. Whether this is your first time traveling to Israel or just a long over-waited return, planning a trip yourself isn't for everyone.  For a country the size of New Jersey, there are countless sights and tourist attractions as well as hidden gems that are considered “must-see” excursions. Everyone from family and friends to the mensch working your synagogue gift shop has given you a list of recommendations you are itching to visit. And on top of that, depending on the group you’re with or the spirit of your trip there can be an added layer of difficulty and coordination causing an unnecessary preamble of stress for a vacation.

Thankfully you can take that frustration out of your planning process with the help of specialized travel agencies that provide your itinerary and transportation! Ayelet Tours is a travel agency that has been bringing people of all different backgrounds to Israel since the 1980s. And, just like Hasod, the idea all started from one passionate and dedicated woman.

Diane Rubtchinsky began Ayelet Tours at her kitchen table and since has gifted thousands with the adventures within Israel. The trips Ayelet Tours provides range from their Israel Highlights and Jewish Heritage in Depth tours to congregational tours and they can even take care of the whole family on bar/bat mitzvah tours. And her giving hasn't ended there!

Ayelet Tours is partnering with us here at Hasod to take care of all of their gifting needs! To thank people for trusting them with organizing their journey and to remind people of their precious time spent in Israel. Ayelet Tours understands that while your trip was surely filled with adventure, relaxation, and mind-opening experiences that your trip’s impact does not need to end with you! Hasod’s gift boxes are made up of beautiful hand-picked pieces ranging from household items to fashion and jewelry finds, all from the small local businesses of Israel. One of our favorite parts of this beautiful country is that everyone is connected, not just from Jewish geography but from a shared love of the land, culture, and people. Receiving a Hasod gift box on your doorstep keeps you connected even once you’re back home recovering from the jet lag. Don’t just remember what you did on your trip but how it made you feel!

Abi Schonberger

Hi!! My name is Abi Schonberger and I’m interning with Hasod this summer as a content intern with a program called Onward. After an amazing thirteen summers spent at overnight camp in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania I decided it was time for me to come back to Israel. I love Israel and needed an excuse to stay for a chunk of time longer than just my ten day Taglit trip! Hasod gave me a greater purpose here than just vacationing and I cant wait to share with you all my eats, thoughts, and adventures as I explore my favorite place, Tel Aviv!

XOXO Abi
