Meet Hasod’s 2023 Summer Interns : The A-Team!

Hasod has three new faces to add to the team, Allie, Alana and Abi (our A tream!).

The three of them are here in Israel as summer interns through an internship abroad program called Onward Israel, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them.

Here is a bit on each one of them:

Allie is a Research and Curator Intern at Hasod and she is hailing all the way here from from Atlanta, Georgia! She is studying Management Information Systems and Marketing at the University of Georgia and she loves exploring and learning as this is her first time in Israel, but most of all she loves having a good time while sometimes saying y’all : ). A little fun fact about Allie is that she is in the juggling club at UGA and knows how to juggle up to 4 balls!

Alanna is a Research and Curator Intern at Hasod and she is hailing all the way here from Toronto, Canada! She is studying Accounting and Retail Management at Syracuse University and she loves to test out new restaurants, try local goodies, go to the beach and pick up on Hebrew words. A fun fact about Alanna is that she was in an Adam Sandler’s movie last summer… So look out for her in You’re so not invited to my Bat Mitzvah coming out this August!

Abi is Hasod’s Content Manager for the summer and she is coming to us all the way from Lower Merion, PA, a suburb outside of Philadelphia! She is going into her junior year of college at Penn State and is studying Journalism. She’s been to Israel many times, but this time around, before starting her internship with us, she lived like a local couch surfing at friend’s houses. She will be writing the blog posts on Hasod’s website all summer long so keep your eye out for the upcoming fresh content! A fun fact about Abi is that she will be studying abroad in Florence, Italy for the fall semester!
