A Sweeter Year Ahead

The year that has passed was the hardest we’ve known,
With struggles that cut to the heart, to the bone.
Yet in the shadows, we’ve stood strong and true,
Holding to hope as the storms raged through.

Now, as the old fades into the night,
We welcome the dawn, a new year’s light.
May the days ahead be filled with peace,
And all of our worries gently cease.

Here’s to sweetness in all we receive,
To a year of promise in which we believe.
May joy and love fill every day,
And may brighter tomorrows be here to stay.
