Meet Gil from Gil Aldor Studio

Gil Aldor is a very talented young designer with a hunch for high end style.

Whenever you see one of his pieces, it is hard not to stare and visualize it in your own space.

Clean. Modern and with a Middle Eastern touch, Gil transports you to dreaming.

He finds inspiration in the everyday life, and with it, creates high end products. He works with raw materials such as raw black metal, brass, aluminium, stainless steel and others and gives them the right finishing touches with (when in need) selected high quality paint.

His pieces look simple at first glans, but each product incorporates several manufacturing technologies that when observing closely, one questions how the piece was actually made.

Now on a more personal note: Gil was born and raised in Jerusalem, where he decided to stay for his Bachelors of Design and graduated from the Industrial Design department of Bezalel. During his third year, as part of a student exchange program, he did a semester at KISD (Köln International School of Design) located in Cologne, Germany, where he learnt and got inspired by the local design.

Upon his graduation and while taking part in the prestigious Greenhouse program at the Design Terminal, Gil decided to officially open his own studio.

We are super excited to be partnering with him to bring you his Fenestra - a series of decorative wall pieces with a shelf for your wall. The series comes in 3 colors: suede green, white sand and red and has 2 different modules: The Fenestra Arc and the Fenestra Crown.
