Meet Adriana and Danielle from Adama
Adama is our first partnership with a mother and daughter run ceramic studio… and we are just so inspired by them!
Adama is located in a lovely green Kibbutz in the Ella Valley between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv and they focus on designing and handcrafting functional, contemporary ceramics that enrich everyday life and give color to any space.
The uniqueness of Adama stems from the combination of clean design, handwork and the use of clay and other raw materials derived from the earth, hence the name, Adama (earth in Hebrew).
A little on Adriana and Danielle:
Adriana, comes from a family of recognized architects and is originally from Argentina. She moved to Israel 30 years ago to settle in Kibbutz Netiv Ha Lamed Hei where she formed a family and eventually came to own Adama. She expressed to us that Adama allows her to recreate and pay tribute to her family by designing architecture inspired pieces.
Danielle, the daughter, has an eye for perfection, is in love with the brand and sees it expanding and going places, which it’s already going!
We are over the moon excited to be partnering with them to bring our Premium Winter Subscribers with a set of 2 mini mugs; a different way to start your day, drink your coffee and sip your tea.
If you are ever in Israel, you will be able to find them in their kibbutz based studio or in Tel Aviv finding inspiration for their pieces.
