Meet Etay from Etay
Etay blew us away with his modern and minimalistic twist to traditional Judaica art.
We hope he blows you away as well!
Etay is a dreamer that constantly plays with architecture in all of his works
A little about his background:
He was born in the north of Israel in a small town called Maalot, raised surrounded by nature, trees and fields.
For his undergraduate degree, he decided to pack up and move to Tel Aviv to study goldsmith at Shenkar College, where he just fell in love with the change in scenery: the architecture, the lines and the cement fascinated him.
Fun fact about his works:
He participated in a competition to design a mezuza for the entrance of the kid’s section of the Ruth Rappaport Children's Hospital (Meyer) in Haifa and he won!
We are super excited to be partnering with him to bring you different Chai Necklaces and Modern Mezuzot.
If you are ever in Tel Aviv, you will be able to find Etay in his studio in the hidden beautiful American Colony Noga neighbourhood or eating in his favourite falafel HaKosem.
