Meet Matan from RAFA

Meet Matan, the founder and creator of RAFA, an industrial design studio founded in 2020 specialising in handmade terrazzo objects.

Matan graduated from Shenkar college of Engineering and Design and is passionate about exploring new materials using traditional technics.

The urge to touch, create and experience with materials was there since she was a little girl, watching her grandmother in her ceramic and art studio.

Matan is a true perfectionist, a go getter and an inspiration.

We are thrilled to be partnering with her to bring you her beautiful terrazzo mezuzahs.

If you are ever in Israel, you will be able to find her in her studio right outside of Tel Aviv or laying at the beach.
