Meet Rena from Art and Ketubot by Rena
Meet Rena.
A wife and mother of two gorgeous girls that is based in the coastal city of Netanya, Israel.
She grew up in Manchester, UK, but she always dreamed of making Aliyah, and what living in Israel would look like.
This dream has always been mirrored through her art in the early years, and she states that it's amazing to look back and see how her dream unfolded.
She always Imagined a life where she could make a career out of doing what she loved, all while building a family, and in the most stunning way possible, now it's her reality.
In 2012, during her national service working with the elderly in an art therapy program, her brother asked Rena to design and paint the ketuba for his upcoming wedding. The process of creating this ketuba, which now hangs on their wall, sparked a new passion in Rena. She started painting personalized ketubot and judaica that year, and so Art and Ketubot by Rena was born!

If you are ever in Netanya you might find Rena in the boardwalk cliff edge in Netanya which overlooks the whole coasts edge. She shared with us that she gets most of her inspirations from the soft and subtle sounds of the sea, but she then went on admitting that her favourite pieces and ideas always come about when sheβs pushing the kids on the swing in the park or walking to pick them up from gan and her sketch book is at home.
