Meet Tal and Adi from TAO

We have been talking to Tal and Adi for a while, looking and loving their posts and products, but not being able to meet due to so many things going on.

BUT - as soon as things relaxed, we just needed to take the time to go out and meet the beautiful women behind TAO Design Studio.

So we headed to south tel aviv and met them in WORKSHOP their shared studio space.

Two smiling, young, creative women, that just sync to create together modern, minimalistic and useful items for the home.

Items that they hope will help bring moments of peace, deep breaths and relaxation.

They blew us away with their attention to detail in every item and we hope they blow you away as well!

A little about Adi Tubali and Tal Yagodovsky, founders of TAO design studio:

Tal grew up in Jerusalem and she loves good food, movement and people.

Adi grew up in Eilat! (the most southern city of Israel) she loves to travel in nature, loves practicing yoga and loves to laugh.

Tal and Adi’s paths crossed for the first time in 2017, when they met in Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, during their undergraduate studies. They both chose to study industrial design and quite naturally worked on many projects together throughout the degree.

Why did you choose to work together so much as students, we asked?

They answered: “From the start we realized that we share world-views, a design tase and that we just synced. Over time, we also discovered the desire to give meaning to the world with the help of design — we just work really well together!”

To no surprise - Studio TAO was almost naturally created shortly after graduation from Bezalel.

T for Tal, A for Adi, and O for Objects.

Fun fact about TAO:

Today they create their ceramic products with the help of digital design tools and 3D printing! They combine this with handwork and traditional techniques of working with ceramic, making each item one of a kind.

We are super excited to be partnering with TAO to bring you useful and beautiful ceramic pieces for your home.

If you are ever in Tel Aviv, you will be able to find Tal and Adi creating in their studio in the hipster side of Tel Aviv, the Florentin neighbourhood or searching for inspiration around nice architecture and natural fields.
