Meet Vered from ROSART.

Vered Goldman is a self-taught illustrator and graphic designer based in Israel. Her work often consists of digitalised hand sketches and is driven by dreams, feelings, the feminine body and elements from nature. She loves painting, especially using gouache, water colours and traditional printing techniques like screen and lino printing.

A little on her personal life:

She was born in Haifa to Russian parents and was always attracted to art. She joined traditional art classes at the age of 5 - but didn’t really like following the rules, so she quit after couple of years. She ended up searching in books, exhibitions and art blogs for a style and pieces that kept her inspired. She never stoped learning and teaching herself techniques to dig deeper in creativity.

Recently, in 2018, she opened ROSART Studio for art & design, a space where design is used to solve problems and make a change. She is all about social impact, sustainability, slow fashion, eco friendly products and feminist movements.

We are thrilled to to be partnering with her to bring you her beautiful It’s Your Time to Bloom prints to motivate you and inspire you in all of our Spring Boxes.

As to where her favourite place in Israel is: It’s just 15 minutes walk from her home studio - it is called Bitzat Zetta (Zetta swamp) - you will find there remaining of an old train station that was built by the british in the 40`s and stopped working in the early 70`s, surrounded by eucalyptus trees and a small lake. It`s a magical and unexpected place!
